How to reward correctly??

Two factors that will undermine intrinsic motivation:

1. Expexted reward(if i read book, then i can watch TV)
2. Tangible reward(money,food and so on)

In future, how do we reward our kids or workers??
We still can reward them in the same ways with some additional rewards:

1. Use more unexpected rewards(give surprise to your kids or workers, reward them not only when you promise to but sometimis also reward them without they aware of)
2. Use verbal rewards( praise them in appropriate way, for exampe say something like"well done, i'm feeling happy with your works" instead of " well done, you should be alway behave like this"
